• Develop analytics-ready datasets and scalable data models tailored to meet evolving business reporting requirements while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Monitor pipeline performance proactively, troubleshoot refresh failures, and address data quality issues to ensure operational reliability.
• Implement comprehensive data validation and quality assurance processes that uphold integrity and consistency throughout all reporting outputs.
• Design and maintain Power BI semantic models as the single source of truth for analytics, ensuring efficient access control through Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Develop engaging Power BI dashboards and reports for business users and management teams, optimising model performance for maximum efficiency.
• Support the implementation of robust data governance standards including dataset ownership, naming conventions, certification processes, and thorough documentation.
• Maintain detailed data lineage, metadata records, and reporting documentation to facilitate transparency and compliance with security policies.

• 3-6 years of proven experience in Data Engineering or related fields such as Analytics Engineering or BI Engineering within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse architecture, OneLake integration, Dataflows creation, Pipelines management, and Semantic Model development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Azure Data Analytics solutions or similar cloud-based platforms supporting large-scale reporting initiatives.
• Advanced SQL skills encompassing data transformation techniques, modelling strategies, query optimisation practices for efficient processing.
• Experience building robust ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate multiple sources while maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
• Comprehensive understanding of Power BI including DAX scripting capabilities, semantic model design principles, dashboard development best practices, and Row-Level Security implementation.
• Knowledge of industry-leading data governance frameworks covering dataset ownership protocols, naming conventions adherence, certification procedures, metadata management strategies.
• Familiarity with Python programming for automation tasks or advanced data processing workflows is highly desirable.
• Exposure to CI/CD methodologies including Git-based development workflows as well as deployment management within cloud environments enhances your suitability.
