Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and ensuring the completion of projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Must have 8 years of experience in technical project management, focusing on applications, infrastructure, and compliance;
- Must have strong understanding of application development, infrastructure, and IT security;
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to the organization's operations;
- Proven expertise in managing complex technical projects from planning to execution and delivery;
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex applications and solution architectures;
- Strong communicator with solid problem-solving abilities to manage technical challenges and ensure project success;
- Effective communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- PMP Certified;
- Agile certifications (Product Owner or Scrum Master).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end projects, including hardware and software upgrades, to support new applications;
- Conduct detailed evaluations of potential applications to ensure they meet the organization's needs;
- Create and execute detailed project plans, tracking progress against timelines and budgets;
- Define evaluation criteria based on functionality, compliance, security, and scalability;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shortlist applications that comply with regulations and align with business goals;
- Plan and manage the implementation of chosen applications, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems;
- Coordinate with development and IT teams to oversee the deployment process;
- Ensure applications are configured according to regulatory standards and organizational policies;
- Assess current infrastructure to verify its ability to support new applications;
- Identify and implement necessary infrastructure upgrades to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
