About the role

JM JAS MAJU SERVICES (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a full-time Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing cost estimates, bills of quantities and contract documents
• Negotiating and agreeing on contract terms with clients and subcontractors
• Monitoring project costs and budgets, and providing regular cost reports
• Valuing completed work and processing interim payments
• Resolving contractual and commercial issues that arise during projects
• Providing advice on the financial implications of design and construction decisions
• Assisting with the preparation of tender documents and bids
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project control techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
