Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR professional to lead and drive key HR initiatives across our growing manufacturing operations. This is a broad HR Generalist role that offers exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and HR operations.
You will partner closely with business leaders to support workforce planning, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure HR practices align with business objectives and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement.
- Partner with department managers on manpower planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives.
- Oversee foreign worker administration and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, disciplinary issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Drive performance management processes and support employee development initiatives.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a trusted HR business partner to managers and employees across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- Proven HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of employment legislation, HR practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and foreign worker matters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, hands-on, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
