We are looking for a senior hire to join a team focused on expanding a global data centre platform.
The person in this role will be deeply involved in how the business grows — identifying where to go next, building the right relationships, and seeing opportunities through from early-stage development to close. It is a hands-on role with real strategic weight, sitting close to decision-makers and working across live deals and new market initiatives simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop data centre opportunities across new and existing markets, covering both ground-up development and acquisition of existing assets
- Take an active role in shaping strategic priorities — including where the business expands, who it partners with, and how it approaches power and sustainability
- Source and secure power capacity to support the forward pipeline of development projec
- Run the investment process end-to-end: building the commercial case, running the numbers, negotiating terms, managing diligence, and getting deals over the line
- Stay close to market developments across target geographies and translate that into actionable intelligence for the team
- Put together clear, well-structured materials for leadership, partners, and customers
- Play an active role in growing and developing junior talent on the team
Qualifications
- 8–14 years in a relevant field — investment, business development, power, energy, infrastructure, real estate, or telcos
- A genuine understanding of what it takes to build and run a data centre: the power requirements, water, permitting, and regulatory landscape
- Someone who thinks in terms of building markets and platforms, not just closing individual transactions
- Comfortable with numbers — financial modelling, returns analysis, and structuring are second nature
- Works well independently, stays self-directed under pressure, and is open to regular travel
