My client is a listed company in its field of business with strong international operations and have grown over the years through organic expansions and acquisitions. They are currently looking for a Regional Tax Manager to strengthen its in‑house tax capability.
Job Description
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance and reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to applicable tax regulations
- Support tax advisory matters related to business operations, transactions, and structural changes
- Partner with internal finance and business teams to provide practical tax input on commercial initiatives and projects
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities on routine queries, audits, and filings
- Identify tax risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies and process improvements
- Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and intercompany tax matters, where applicable
- Support tax-related aspects of acquisitions, restructuring, or other corporate transactions
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impact
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance tax processes and reporting efficiency
The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related discipline; professional tax or accounting qualification preferred. Prior exposure in Big 4 and progressive commercial environments is an advantage
- Strong mix of tax compliance and tax advisory experience acrosss multiple jurisdictions
- Solid understanding of BEPS, transfer pricing, and international tax concepts
- Experience participating in tax technology or tax portal implementations is a plus
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment
