About the Data Literacy Programme (DLP)
The DLP is designed to equip NUS administrative employees and participants from external organizations with critical skills in data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Position Details
We are looking for highly motivated Instructors and Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role, with a minimum two-year commitment, where you’ll play a key role in delivering a memorable learning experience for our participants.

What You’ll Do
As an Instructor or Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Develop engaging teaching materials to simplify complex AI and data science concepts.
• Create interactive eLearning videos that make learning accessible to a broader audience.
• Design innovative assessment tasks that challenge learners and deepen their understanding.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and lead hands-on sessions to spark curiosity and encourage collaboration.
• Offer personalized consultations to help learners succeed in their educational journey.
• Supervise group projects where learners apply their new skills in practical scenarios.
• Contribute to various academic-related services to support the smooth functioning of the programme.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For
You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (other qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
• A passion for teaching—whether you have formal teaching experience or not, we value your enthusiasm and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• The ability to work well within a team and manage groups of eager learners

• A background in Artificial Intelligence (AI)—this will give you an edge in the role.
