Job Summary

We are seeking a driven, hands-on Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, enhance team performance, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by monitoring service flow and addressing issues promptly
  • Supervise and motivate service crew through daily briefings and on-the-job coaching to enhance team performance
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve complaints to uphold guest satisfaction
  • Manage staff rosters, attendance, and shift scheduling to optimize workforce efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely ordering of supplies to maintain operational readiness
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards to guarantee a safe environment
  • Perform cashier and closing duties as needed to support operational continuity
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff to build a competent team
  • Support the Restaurant Manager by preparing reports, tracking sales, and identifying operational improvements
  • Lead by example to foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that drives engagement and productivity

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in F&B or hospitality
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and customer interactions
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset to address challenges and improve operations
