About the Job
Quality Department plays a very important role in Cyrus. You will be working closely with NPI Quality Engineer on testing samples and builds.
Your key responsibilities are as follows:
Conduct First Articla Inspection (FAI), Process Capability/ Process Capability Index (CP/CPK) measurements on moulded parts.
Confirm samples submission from engineering for moulding validation.
Identify the appropriate measurement method and create measurement work instructions.
Train QC inspectors in measurement methodology.
Verify tool changes and process dimensions after tool modifications / rectifications.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role (preferably in Plastic Injection Moulding Industry).
Experience in using QC inspection tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Smart Scope etc
Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Good work attitude & interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with a good learning
Able to work independently and in teams.
Able to interpret mechanical drawings and basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Detail oriented for data accuracy.
