JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES : 

Assist superior on the day to day / ad hoc operation of the department and to work alongside with other departments to provide accurate and timely advice on various legal topics;
·        Drafting, vetting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and any other type of legal documents as requested by the superior from time to time;
·        Identifying and evaluating legal issues arising from commitments made by the company and to advise and formulate appropriate resolutions for the same;
·        Provide legal opinion, advice and guidance to executives on a variety of legal topics and contractual arrangements to ensure that the company's interests are protected and there are no adverse legal implications within its operations and among its subsidiaries
·        Conduct thorough follow-up on Legal matters and able to solve problem in a mature way.
·        Possess good knowledge on Legal Matters with regards to the Company's dealings with Government & Statutory Bodies, Local Authorities, Company's Clients and Customers or any other entities related to the Company.
·        Ability to provide advice pertaining to all Legal matters related to the Company and its subsidiaries.
·        Supporting the CEO, provide support to the management team to ensure the team runs efficiently.
·        Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks.
·        Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the management team priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
·        Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics.
·        Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to the management team.
·        Manage, coordinate, and arrange management teams’ travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, and transportation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent.
• Preferably Legal Practice certified or any certifications from other professional bodies.
• Experience in-house legal counsel or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Independent, and capable to excel in face paced environment
• Analytical, meticulous, and able to deliver quality result within tight deadlines.
• Good communications skills – written & verbal.
• Able to manage schedules, documentation, and coordination efficiently.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with report preparation, meeting minutes, and event coordination.
• Meticulous and competence in reading/interpreting contract and legal documents
• Adaptable to the general and secretarial duties of the Human Resources Practices
• Computer Literate – Ms Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
