About the role

Join the dynamic team at Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns as a Finance Manager. In this full-time role, you will be based in Kuantan, Pahang, and play a crucial part in managing the financial operations and reporting for the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

  2. Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payments, and cash flow management

  3. Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making

  4. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and advice

  6. Ensure the company's financial records and reporting are maintained to the highest standards

  7. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial guidance and recommendations

  8. Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and best practices, and implement necessary changes

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry

  2. Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting, including knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

  3. Proficient in using financial software and systems, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach

  6. Adaptability to changes and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

  7. Off days during weekdays
