What The Role Is
You will play a critical role in the development of acute and crisis care services in psychiatry and mental health care including the implementation of the Acute Psychiatry Services Transformation.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What You Will Be Working On
- Be part of a team implementing the national strategy to increase and enhance specialist outpatient, inpatient and emergency services in mental healthcare
- Develop psychiatric outpatient, inpatient and emergency services nationally
- Standardise model of care for mental health services as well as manpower complement nationally
What We Are Looking For
Work Experience, Competencies and Personal Traits
- A good bachelor degree preferably in science/ mathematics; or
- A professional degree
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare and public policy development
- Some understanding of health and social care sectors
- Some experience in service planning and development is preferred.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Need to be able to work independently as well as in a team, and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
