Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineering Intern role based in Klang. The intern will support mechanical design and analysis activities, including preparing and updating technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools under supervision. Daily tasks include assisting with experiments, data collection, and performance testing of mechanical components or systems. The intern will help document findings, prepare basic reports or presentations, and contribute to ongoing projects through coordination with academic staff and project teams. The role also involves participating in team meetings, supporting project planning tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards in laboratories and workshop environments.
Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge and coursework in Mechanical Engineering, with interest in applied research and design.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and support engineering problem-solving.
• Proficiency or familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical drawings.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with supervisors, peers, and project teams, and for preparing basic technical documentation.
• Basic Project Management abilities, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination of assigned activities.
• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree program.
• Ability to work on-site in Klang, follow safety procedures, and learn new tools and methods quickly.
• Knowledge of engineering software (e.g., basic simulation tools), and prior project or lab experience are advantageous.
