Kerja Sepenuh Masa Staff Nurse - Operation Room, Gaji tinggi MYR 2,600 di Columbia Asia Hospital - Setapak Federal Territory - Maukerja

Position Summary:

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit according to established standards and procedures.
• Prepare operating room, materials and equipment for surgery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
General
1. Responsible for carrying out high standard of nursing care and treatment of her patients undergoing surgeries.
2. Receive and check patient pre-operatively according to the checklist.
3. Prepare OR for surgical procedures & ensure all equipment are in working condition.
4. Circulate and scrub for surgical procedure of all disciplines.
5. Assist in the management of OR.
6. Maintain concise and complete documentation of operative records which is inclusive of swab and instrument count and anesthetic record.
7. Monitor stock for consumables and drugs according to par level.
8. Responsible for collection of surgical specimens and ensure correct labeling.
9. Daily check of controlled drugs, crash cart and medical gases.
10. Ensure patient safety by taking preventive measures against accidents/incidents.
11. Assist Anesthetist during administration of anesthesia.
12. Paricipate in the "on-call" roster for emergencies.
13. Check Doctor's orders after surgery to ensure post operative treatment care is recorded.
14. Update OR register at each case.
15. Observe, take, record and report abnormal patient's condition/vital signs to the Surgeon/ Anesthetist.
16. Participate in the training and development of nurses in OR.
17. Perform any other duties as assigned or directed.

Education and Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse with at least 2 years experience.
2. Preferably with a post-basic certificate in Peri-operative nursing prefered.
3. Valid annual practicing certificate.
4. Able to communicate well in both written and spoken English language and Bahasa Malaysia.
