We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support the Finance and Administration Department. The successful candidate will assist in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and customer accounts.
- Assist with payroll-related documentation and administrative tasks.
- Support audits by preparing required financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates is welcome to apply
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
