Are you a Voice & Unified Communications expert with deep experience in Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and AudioCodes SBCs?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Voice Engineer to lead a large-scale global telephony transformation programme, migrating from Avaya Aura PBX to Microsoft Teams Phone across multiple international locations.

About the Role

As a Senior Voice Engineer, you will serve as the technical lead for a global voice transformation initiative, driving the migration from Avaya Aura PBX to Microsoft Teams Phone across 11 international sites.

You will be responsible for Teams Phone engineering, Direct Routing architecture, AudioCodes SBC deployment, pilot execution, voice policy configuration, and enterprise voice service delivery within a highly regulated global environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a strategic enterprise-wide transformation programme involving modern collaboration technologies, cloud telephony, compliance integration, and global infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the migration from Avaya Aura PBX to Microsoft Teams Phone (Cloud PBX)

Configure Microsoft Teams Phone environments including:

• Voice Policies
• Dial Plans
• Voice Routing Policies
• Calling Policies
• User Provisioning

Design, configure, and validate Direct Routing architecture using AudioCodes SBCs

Build and manage lab environments for:

• SBC Validation
• Integration Testing
• Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)

Coordinate AudioCodes SBC deployment activities across 11 global sites including:

• Rack & Stack
• Network Integration
• Configuration
• Onboarding
• Testing

Collaborate with implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout deployment phases

Lead Singapore pilot cutover activities and support global rollout waves

Troubleshoot complex voice, SIP, SBC, PSTN, and Teams Phone issues

Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, change control, security, and compliance requirements

Required Experience

5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Teams Phone engineering experience

Proven experience delivering Teams Direct Routing solutions

Strong AudioCodes SBC deployment and operational expertise

Experience supporting enterprise voice infrastructure in large-scale environments

Experience executing telephony migrations from legacy PBX platforms to cloud voice solutions

Strong knowledge of:

• SIP Protocols
• PSTN Connectivity
• Voice Routing
• SBC Architecture
• Teams Admin Center

Experience working within regulated industries such as:

• Banking & Financial Services
• Government
• Energy & Utilities
• Pharmaceuticals
• Healthcare

Experience supporting global organisations with distributed teams and stakeholders

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
