Full Time Porter Jobs, in Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani Kedah - Maukerja

JOB SUMMARY :

The Porter is responsible for providing patients with directory, assistance and transportation needs. He / She will also assist the department in all dispatch and porterage function.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Routine

• To provide assistance to all patient in the hospital.
• To wheel patient who have movement difficulty to and from all department within the hospital.
• To accompany stable patients to and from all department within the hospital.
• To send or take documents (e.g. medical folder/ discharge note & etc) to and from all department within the hospital.
• To send or take goods (e.g medical supplies) to and from all departments within the hospital.
• To send lab specimen/blood/urine to Laboratory Departmen.
• To dispatch issue return medication from wards to Pharmacy.

OTHER:

• To dispatch documents to Shop Lot Admin Office [only 2 times in a day, cut off time = 1pm & 4pm]
• To assist in the orderly movement of discharged patients’ luggage, if required.

COMMUNICATION AND LIASON:

• Consistently delivering exceptional services and embrace IHH service values & passion.
• Ensure that any member of the hospital staff does not infringe patients’ dignity and rights.
• Wears employee identification badge while on duty at all times.
• Assist in provision and maintenance of an optimal environment protecting patients and others.

EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES:

• To works on shift work as per agreed schedule / roster.
• To perform any other duties as when assigned by the Supervisor.
