Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing teams, improving operational processes, coordinating cross-department activities, and ensuring business objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Plan, manage, and monitor daily business operations.
  • Ensure operational processes run efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate operational staff.
  • Set team goals and performance targets.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching where necessary.
  • Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and manpower requirements.

3. Process Improvement

  • Analyze operational workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Implement cost-saving and productivity-enhancing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.

4. Customer Service & Quality Control

  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints and operational issues.
  • Ensure products and services meet quality standards.

5. Inventory & Logistics Management (if applicable)

  • Oversee inventory control and stock management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
  • Ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.

6. Financial & Budget Management

  • Manage departmental budgets and operational expenses.
  • Monitor costs and improve profitability.
  • Prepare operational reports and performance analysis.

7. Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Track KPIs and business performance metrics.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Cost control and budget compliance.
  • Customer satisfaction score (CSAT).
  • Team performance and staff productivity.
  • Order fulfillment and delivery accuracy.
  • Process improvement achievements.
  • Employee retention and turnover rate.

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Management, or related fields.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of operational management experience (depending on company size).
  • Experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in customer service, logistics, retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
