1. Pre-Event (Planning & Preparation)
- Client Consultation: Discuss event goals, target audience, preferred themes, and expectations.
- Budget Management: Prepare detailed budgets, track expenditures, and negotiate rates with venues and suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Venue & Vendor Sourcing: Scout locations, secure permits (e.g., entertainment licenses), and book caterers, AV technicians, and entertainers.
- Marketing & Promotion: Develop strategies to drive attendance, including digital campaigns, social media, and managing invitations.
2. Event Day (Execution & Logistics)
- On-Site Operations: Direct the physical setup of the venue (e.g., seating, audiovisuals, stages).
- Team Management: Brief and supervise short-term staff, security personnel, and volunteers.
- Risk Management: Implement health and safety protocols, and quickly troubleshoot any last-minute emergencies or obstacles.
- Guest Experience: Ensure the event runs on schedule and deliver an engaging, high-quality experience for attendees.
3. Post-Event (Evaluation & Reporting)
- Tear-Down: Supervise the dismantling of equipment and ensure the venue is cleaned and vacated properly.
- Analytics & Reporting: Gather attendee feedback, track engagement metrics, and evaluate if the event met its initial objectives.
- Financial Closure: Finalize all invoices, process payments, and provide clients with a comprehensive cost report.
4. Essential Skills Required
- Organization: The ability to juggle multiple moving parts and interdependencies simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking to handle crises calmly under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and strong interpersonal skills for clients.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
