Key Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken dialogue promptly and accurately, ensuring cultural awareness and professionalism.
• Use appropriate industry-specific terminology and demonstrate knowledge of standard practices.
• Facilitate conversations on a wide range of topics, including healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, emergency response (911), law enforcement, legal, and general business.
• Maintain focus and impartiality during conversations, ensuring objective interpretation.
• Build rapport and trust with clients through professional behavior and effective communication.
• Adhere strictly to client instructions during interpretation assignments.
• Provide cultural context when needed to avoid miscommunication, with prior client consent.
• Work remotely on a long-term basis, fully set up for virtual interpretation assignments.
