Responsibilities

• Take charge of tax compliance across Singapore and overseas jurisdictions, working closely with external consultants.
• Provide expert tax advisory support on business planning, commercial contract reviews, and cross-border transactions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by offering technical tax guidance to regional and local finance teams, as well as business units within the Group.
• Stay ahead of the game by monitoring and assessing new and proposed tax legislation, ensuring seamless business adaptation.
• Develop tax-efficient strategies, supporting initiatives like business acquisitions, restructuring, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to enhance and streamline tax provisioning processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• A Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional tax qualifications.
• At least 6 years of in-house tax experience, with strong expertise in tax accounting, compliance, and returns.
• Regional tax exposure in markets like Malaysia and Hong Kong is highly desirable
