We are looking for someone who can strategise, write, rank, and build authority.

Mapletree Media is looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team in a 100% remote, fully WFH role.

This role is for someone who can plan SEO strategies, write SEO content, optimise pages, and build website authority through safe, white-hat off-page SEO.

What You’ll Do

• Plan SEO content strategies based on keywords, search intent, competitors, and business goals.
• Write and optimise SEO articles, landing pages, service pages, category pages, and website content.
• Do keyword research, keyword clustering, SERP analysis, and content planning.
• Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, FAQs, URLs, and content structure.
• Support content for Google rankings, AI Overviews, AEO, featured snippets, and organic visibility.
• Handle off-page SEO, including backlink research, guest post SEO, outreach support, and link placement checks.
• Review backlink quality, anchor text, referring domains, and link relevance.
• Find safe opportunities for guest posts, digital PR, editorial mentions, citations, and authority growth.
• Support basic technical SEO checks such as indexing, crawlability, schema, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals.
• Use Reddit, forums, Google SERP, and People Also Ask to find user questions, content gaps, and topic ideas.
• Track SEO performance using GSC, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, and Surfer SEO.
• Prepare simple SEO reports with clear insights and next steps.
• Work with the SEO Lead, writers, developers, designers, and account teams.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to support research, writing, optimisation, and reporting.

Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, SEO writing, off-page SEO, content marketing, or digital publishing.
• Strong in SEO strategy, SEO writing, and off-page SEO.
• Good understanding of keyword research, search intent, content structure, and on-page SEO.
• Good understanding of backlinks, guest posts, anchor text, referring domains, and white-hat link building.
• Able to write clear SEO content across different brands and industries.
• Familiar with tools such as GSC, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, and Surfer SEO.
• Basic understanding of technical SEO.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and responsible.
• Clear communicator who works well with teams and clients.
• Quality-driven and takes 100% ownership of work.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with digital PR, guest post outreach, brand mentions, or citation building.
• Experience with WordPress, Shopify, SiteGiant, and Rank Math.
• Experience writing for beauty, wellness, healthcare, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands.
• Experience preparing backlink audits, SEO reports, or competitor analysis.
