POSITION SUMMARY

Assist and support the Chief Investment & Property Officer (CIPO) to research, identify, analyse and review various classes and types of investments, including financial analysis on investment projects, and performance evaluation of existing businesses and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Analyze investment portfolio performance and identify investment assets across all investment classes, both locally and internationally to provide optimization of investment returns (ROI) on the investment portfolio.
2. To attend investment and market reviews by fund managers and investment banks, etc.
3. Prepare performance reports on investment portfolio and monitor portfolio performance against set targets.
4. To vigilantly monitor news reports locally and globally and alert the Investment Committee on potential red flag news reports and triggering events that may impact assets value in the investment portfolio.
5. Prepare performance reports and dashboards for business units within the Group.
6. Responsible for planning and implementing the investment plans, operations and activities according to stipulated timeline.
7. Responsible to check and reply all support and admin emails on daily basis and cascade to relevant PIC if necessary.
8. To assist in performing market research on any new businesses under consideration by the Group.
9. Coordinating property development projects with the property team.
10. Coordinating with consultants for property development projects.
11. Managing the loan application process and liaising with Bank Pembangunan for the Langkawi Hotel project.
12. Assisting in the management of Nagasutra Villa and liaising with the marketing agent in Bali.
13. Holding the position of Treasurer of Prima Klang JMB and attending JMB meetings.
14. Overseeing the leasing activities for Prima Klang Avenue offices and retail lots.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably for a financial institution or a public-listed company.
