The R&Q Transformation Intern will support the Risk & Quality (R&Q) Transformation Team in driving enhancements to risk and quality processes through process improvement, digitalisation, automation, and the integration of AI-enabled solutions.
The role provides hands-on exposure to risk and quality policies, governance frameworks, and transformation initiatives. The intern will work closely with Risk & Quality professionals and technology stakeholders to help deliver practical, scalable, and user-centric solutions.
- Process Enhancement & Digitalisation
- Assist in reviewing and understanding existing Risk & Quality processes, workflows, and controls.
- Support documentation of current ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes through process maps and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardisation, and efficiency improvements.
- Support automation and digital workflow initiatives to reduce manual effort and enhance controls.
- AI & Technology Enablement
- Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of AI-enabled tools such as chatbots or co-pilot agents.
- Assist in structuring, curating, and maintaining Risk & Quality policy content for AI or digital solutions.
- Perform basic testing, validation, and user experience checks on AI or digital tools.
- Assist in exploring the application of AI, analytics, or low-code tools to improve policy navigation and compliance.
- Governance, Change & Enablement
- Support governance and change management activities related to R&Q transformation initiatives.
- Assist in preparing user communications, guides, and training materials for new processes or tools.
- Help gather user feedback, track issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide general project support, including status tracking, documentation, and presentation preparation.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct research on transformation best practices.
- Support project planning, execution, testing, and documentation activities.
- Prepare working papers, dashboards, trackers, and presentation materials for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Risk & Quality team members, technology teams, and business users.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and tasks to support transformation initiatives.
Skills, experience and qualifications:
Technical & Professional Skills
- Preferably undergraduate students pursuing a final year degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science / Analytics, Software Engineering or equivalent disciplines
- Strong interest in process improvement, automation, digitalisation, and AI technologies.
- Basic understanding of business processes, governance, risk, or compliance is an advantage.
- Basic or Intermediate skills of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Basic or Intermediate skills of Alteryx, low-code Microsoft Power Platform (such as Power BI, Power Automate, RPA), or AI tools is preferable.
