What It's About
The Proposal Management team sits at the center of Partners Group’s fundraising efforts – translating our private markets platform into clear, compelling investor communications that help win mandates globally. In this role, you will lead high-visibility RFP/RFI responses end-to-end, partnering with subject matter experts across the firm to deliver consistent, high-quality content under tight deadlines. You’ll also help shape how we scale proposal excellence through early adoption of AI-enabled tools and a growing content library – supporting a more efficient, future-ready process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ intake, prioritization, and response planning in alignment with Sales and relevant stakeholders
- Lead kick-off and alignment meetings, set timelines, clarify requirements, and define ownership across contributors
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across the organization to gather inputs, validate information, and ensure consistency of messaging
- Draft, edit, and quality-control responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to Partners Group tone and standards
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing reusable content, maintaining a structured content library, and strengthening standard responses
- Oversee timely finalization and delivery of investor materials to Sales and other stakeholders
- Support and coach junior team members and interns, providing guidance on process, writing quality, and stakeholder management
What We Expect
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing institutional RFP/RFI/RFQ responses (proposal/RFP management)
- Demonstrated ability to run complex, deadline-driven workstreams with strong prioritization and stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong writing, editing, and content-structuring skills with high attention to detail and quality control
- Solid understanding of financial markets; private markets knowledge strongly preferred
- Experience using RFP/proposal response platforms (e.g., AutoRFP is a plus) and content repositories (e.g., SharePoint)
- Collaborative communication style with the ability to translate technical inputs into clear, client-ready language
- Commitment to continuous improvement, including comfort adopting new tools (including AI-enabled solutions) to enhance quality and efficiency
