We are seeking an experienced Laravel Trainer to serve as the principal liaison between our engineering team and our government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for training clients to use our platform effectively, maintaining strong client relationships, and channelling client input into the ongoing improvement of our products.

Role Summary

The Laravel Trainer represents the platform to agency users by conducting training, addressing enquiries, and building client confidence. The role also represents those users to our development team by capturing bugs, usability concerns, and feature requests in a clear and actionable form.

The position requires genuine Laravel expertise. While the role is not focused on day-to-day feature development, the candidate must be able to engage credibly with agency IT officers, accurately reproduce and diagnose issues, and translate client feedback into precise technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct onboarding sessions, workshops, and hands-on training for government agency staff.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned agency clients, building relationships and driving platform adoption.

Collect, document, and prioritise client feedback, bug reports, and feature requests, and reproduce and triage issues prior to escalation to the development team.

Translate client requirements into clear, structured tickets and specifications for the engineering team.

Prepare training materials, user guides, frequently asked questions, and release notes in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Support product demonstrations and presentations for prospective and existing clients.

Maintain a working knowledge of the Laravel codebase and system architecture to ensure technical discussions remain accurate and well-informed.

Requirements

Strong, hands-on Laravel experience, with a minimum of five (5) years building and delivering production applications.

Direct experience on Malaysian government and public-sector IT projects, including familiarity with agency operations, procurement processes, and support expectations.

Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is required, together with strong professional English, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to present confidently to agency officers and to produce clear written documentation.

A professional, patient, and approachable manner, with a strong client-service orientation.

Open to Malaysian citizen only.

Willingness and ability to travel to client sites within the Klang Valley as required.
