POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Project Management Executive to lead and oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure and structural development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget — from land acquisition through to Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCCC) handover.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage infrastructure and structural projects from inception to completion, including land acquisition, design coordination, construction supervision, and handover.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, statutory bodies, and regulatory agencies for approvals, permits, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee engineering design coordination, ensuring technical designs meet project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.
  • Manage project quality assurance and quality control processes in accordance with established standards and contractual obligations.
  • Liaise with land owners, government land offices, and relevant authorities during the land acquisition process, ensuring all statutory and legal requirements are fulfilled.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, issues, and mitigation measures to management and stakeholders.
  • Manage the project handover process, ensuring all documentation, inspections, and approvals are completed prior to obtaining the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCCC).
  • Mentor and guide junior project team members, promoting a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
  • Professional registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional engineering body is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in project management and/or engineering consultancy.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in engineering design for infrastructure works (roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities) and structural works within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record managing development projects in a developer company, covering the full project lifecycle: land acquisition, statutory liaison, design coordination, quality control, budget management, and CCC/CCCC handover.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of engineering design principles applicable to infrastructure and structural projects.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian statutory requirements, by-laws, and approval processes for infrastructure development projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering design software is an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of contract administration and project financial management.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
