We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

- Autonomous navigation and decision-making capabilities of robotic systems across air, land and sea domains, to enhance safety and increase efficiency of various combat and support operations in Singapore’s challenging environment
- Unmanned Ground Vehicles deployed on the battlefield to overcome logistics challenges
- Marine robots with unique payloads to secure sea lines of communications
- Micro-UAVs and drones for use in all conditions and environments to provide our users with last mile intelligence and logistics
Scope of Work
You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Robotics to:
- Develop, test, and deliver game-changing autonomous robotics solutions
- Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
- Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
- Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
- Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- Proficiency in ROS, Unity, Computer Networking is advantageous
- Understanding of programming languages such as Python, C++ or MATLAB for developing control systems and algorithms is advantageous
- Knowledge of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics and control systems is advantageous
- Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
- Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
- Willing to travel for overseas work trips
