Are you highly organized, proactive, and passionate about project development? We're looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to support our Business Development Manager in driving exciting development projects from planning through approval.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with government authorities, consultants, surveyors, and project stakeholders while gaining valuable exposure to the property development industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Development & Project Support

  • Assist in all business and project development activities.
  • Coordinate licensing applications, approvals, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support public relations initiatives and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and authorities.
  • Monitor project development progress and maintain accurate status updates.

Authority & Consultant Liaison

  • Submit drawings and documentation to relevant authorities.
  • Follow up on approvals, endorsements, comments, and requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with consultants, surveyors, and government departments.
  • Collect and track preliminary, construction, and submission drawings.

Administrative Excellence

  • Manage filing, scanning, photocopying, and document control.
  • Record incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Process petty cash claims and internal forms (PRF, WORF, RFP, etc.).
  • Maintain organized project records and documentation.

Team Contribution

  • Provide valuable input into business planning and development initiatives.
  • Support company events, activities, and special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across all departments to achieve company objectives.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Property Development, Town Planning, Construction Management, or related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to liaise confidently with government authorities and external stakeholders

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in property development or construction industries
  • Knowledge of local authority submission processes
  • Experience handling project documentation and approvals
