The Difference You Will Make
As a Butchery , you will play a critical role in ensuring product freshness, food safety, and operational excellence within our production and retail support environment. You will be responsible for maintaining strict temperature controls, hygiene standards, and proper handling of meat and chilled/frozen goods.
Beyond daily operational checks, you will ensure equipment readiness, accurate stock handling, and compliance with company SOPs. Your attention to detail, urgency in response, and commitment to quality will directly impact customer satisfaction and food safety standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Check and record the temperature of production room, freezer, and chiller areas
- Ensure all cold storage equipment is operating within required safety standards
- Immediately report any temperature deviations or equipment failure
- Monitor cleanliness of working areas and ensure that daily sanitation activities are completed
- Lead and support routine housekeeping and hygiene compliance checks
- Ensure compliance with food safety and company SOPs at all times
- Verify physical goods received against 3PL delivery lists
- Ensure accuracy in stock handling, especially non-trade and perishable items
- Maintain sufficient stock levels for operational requirements
- Cut, portion, and prepare meat products according to supervisor instructions
- Support display preparation, packaging, and over-the-counter sales assistance when required
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all meat products
- Test and inspect machinery, weighing scales, and related equipment daily
- Report any malfunction, breakdown, or missing equipment immediately
- Ensure tools and utensils are properly maintained and accounted for
- Record and escalate urgent issues such as breakdowns, losses, or safety risks
- Ensure timely communication of operational risks to supervisors
- Adhere strictly to company policies, food safety regulations, and SOPs
- Support ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by management from time to time
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before shift starts for preparation and briefing
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in butchery, hyper/supermarket, F&B production, or similar operational roles
- Knowledge of meat handling, food safety, and cold chain management preferred
- Strong attention to detail and task execution skills
- Good communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Willing to work 6 days a week on rotating shifts
- Physically fit and able to work in cold environments (chiller/freezer conditions)
- Disciplined, responsible, and able to follow instructions accurately
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
