Tanggungjawab

1. Role Overview

SAP PM Consultant responsible for supporting and enhancing Plant Maintenance business processes in SAP. The role involves equipment lifecycle management, maintenance planning, work order execution, and integration with other modules such as MM, FI, and PS.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. SAP PM Functional Support

  • Support end-to-end Plant Maintenance processes:
    • Preventive maintenance
    • Corrective maintenance
    • Breakdown maintenance
  • Handle:
    • Maintenance notifications
    • Work order creation, execution, and closure
  • Provide L2/L3 support (for AMS projects)

B. Equipment & Technical Object Management

  • Manage and maintain:
    • Equipment master
    • Functional locations
    • Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Ensure proper structuring of technical objects hierarchy

C. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

  • Configure and support:
    • Maintenance plans (single cycle / strategy-based)
    • Task lists (general, equipment, functional location)
  • Monitor:
    • Maintenance scheduling
    • Work order backlog
    • Resource allocation

D. Work Order Management

  • Support lifecycle of maintenance orders:
    • Creation
    • Planning (materials, labor)
    • Execution
    • Confirmation and closure
  • Ensure proper:
    • Cost tracking
    • Settlement to cost centers/asset

E. Integration with Other Modules

  • Work closely with:
    • MM – spare parts, procurement, inventory
    • FI/CO – cost tracking, settlements
    • PS – project-based maintenance
  • Ensure seamless flow of:
    • Material consumption
    • Service procurement
    • Financial postings

F. Incident Management & Enhancements

  • Analyze and resolve:
    • System issues and user tickets
    • Data inconsistencies
  • Support:
    • Minor enhancements
    • Functional specifications (FS)
  • Coordinate with ABAP for custom developments

G. Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate and support reports:
    • Equipment history
    • Maintenance costs
    • Downtime analysis
  • Support KPIs such as:
    • MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
    • MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)

H. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain:
    • Configuration documents
    • Process documents & SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Audit requirements
    • Safety and maintenance standards


4. Experience Requirement

  • 3–7 years of SAP PM experience
  • Experience in:
    • AMS / support projects
