Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Services Consultant role based in Singapore. The Financial Services Consultant will meet with clients to understand their financial goals and assess their needs across protection, retirement, and wealth accumulation. The role includes analyzing clients’ financial situations, preparing tailored financial plans, and recommending suitable insurance and investment solutions aligned with Manulife’s offerings. The consultant will proactively manage client portfolios, conduct regular reviews, and provide ongoing advice as clients’ circumstances evolve. Daily activities also involve prospecting and networking, collaborating with internal teams and partners, staying current on market and product developments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, financial situations, and risk profiles.
  • Knowledge of finance and financial services, including insurance, investments, and retirement planning.
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles, with a client-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Regulatory certifications or licenses required for financial advisory practice in Singapore, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical business practices.
