Aufgabengebiet

  • Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective services
  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external parties in the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual tax filings, where applicable
  • Oversee and take ownership of financial bookkeeping activities
  • Record monthly financial transactions in the ledger, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries, and prepare corresponding reports
  • Ensure all month-end and year-end closing processes are completed accurately and within deadlines
  • Maintain accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data in line with Corporate Accounting Guidelines
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accruals are properly recorded and comprehensive
  • Perform account analysis to verify the accuracy of journal entries and account balances
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly trend analysis on balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
  • Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts for specific entities in coordination with the Treasury team
  • Lead and coordinate both internal and external audit processes
  • Support the development and enhancement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Perform additional accounting responsibilities and provide guidance to junior staff as required
  • Manage investment records and maintain fixed asset registers
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior

Anforderungsprofil

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience in a General Ledger function within a corporate or SSC/BPO environment would be beneficial
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, or Oracle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly accountable with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment
