Qualification and Experiences

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or ICAEW.
• Candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience in GL are required.
• Experience in AR/AP will be an added advantage.
• Experience in audit will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Retail or FMCG field is preferred, but other fields are also considerable.
• Possess basic knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Independent, self -motivated and detail oriented.

Position Responsibilities

• Handle and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger accounting and journal entries.
• Perform month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting documents.
• Monitor accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in financial reporting, audit, and tax matters.
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
