**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain an enterprise network infrastructure. You will ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability whilst supporting the organisation's technological growth and digital transformation initiatives.
**Job Description**
Network Monitoring & Alerting: Utilize advanced network management and monitoring tools to observe network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and overall system health.
Incident Management: Trouble-shoot connectivity issues, diagnose, isolate, and resolve network outages, packet loss, or hardware failures. Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Schedule and execute firmware updates, software patches, and hardware replacements.
Security Implementation: Enforce network security measures, including managing firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Escalate unresolved tickets to tier-3 specialists and coordinate with external internet service providers (ISPs) or equipment vendors.
Design, configure, and deploy network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
Maintain network documentation, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures.
**Job Requirements**
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking qualifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and network security principles
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for multicultural team collaboration
