Job Summary

Resorts World Sentosa is looking for an Assistant Manager (Controls Engineering) to join the team to lead the reliability and maintenance engineering of amusement rides and show equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role will develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, drive reliability improvements, support engineering changes, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and amusement ride safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering validation and reliability centered maintenance analysis of all amusement rides/show equipment. Develop and execute a structured Preventive Maintenance program.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Manages the implementation of solutions to improve operational safety and reliability of Ride & Show equipment (Through improved diagnostics, approved/improved software revisions, technician training, and Preventive Maintenance improvement).
• Perform research and implement solutions for Predictive Maintenance technology to improve operational reliability of Rides.
• Support Engineering Change Process and Review of Service bulletins.
• Understand Amusement ride safety regulations set by Building and Construction Authority (BCA).

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Control System Engineering, Fault Analysis and PLC Systems, preferably Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, SLC 500 and Siemens S7

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Automation Systems.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle process/standard electrical schematic diagrams/Change Control process.
• Logical approach to troubleshooting and the ability to perform complex system tests.
• As part of defect troubleshooting, the applicant must be able to Work-At-Heights and be able to take the rides.
• Able to perform shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of technical team members.
