Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Windows Engineer to support enterprise workplace and cloud infrastructure environments. This role will be responsible for managing endpoint systems, supporting workplace management platforms, administering cloud services, and driving operational improvements across enterprise IT environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Windows administration, endpoint management, cloud infrastructure, and automation technologies within large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace & Endpoint Management
- Manage and support enterprise workplace environments including desktop and endpoint systems
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems, applications, drivers, updates, and patches
- Support PC imaging, software packaging, software deployment, and patch management activities
- Ensure smooth operation of workplace management tools and endpoint platforms
Cloud Infrastructure Support
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure environments across AWS and/or Microsoft Azure platforms
- Deploy and manage cloud services, virtual machines, storage, and networking components
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for cloud environments
Automation & System Improvement
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support infrastructure-as-code implementation using automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Assist in streamlining operational processes and workplace deployment activities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational enhancements
System Administration & Support
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows-based systems
- Support workplace management and endpoint tools such as SCCM, BigFix, Citrix, Nexthink, or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot system, infrastructure, and connectivity-related issues across enterprise environments
- Support server and desktop escalations related to workplace infrastructure services
Documentation & Operational Governance
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system reports
- Perform testing and validation activities for infrastructure and endpoint changes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure service quality and operational stability
- Support day-to-day operational activities and project implementations assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Windows environments and workplace management platforms
- Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, and endpoint management tools
- Experience with patch management, software deployment, and desktop imaging technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Familiarity with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation will be advantageous
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting is preferred
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, cloud security best practices, and enterprise infrastructure operations is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and within cross-functional operational teams
