Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Specialist to join the System Interaction Engineering (SIE) team in Singapore. The team supports the development of innovative products by validating system design robustness and reliability across a diverse portfolio of print products, including Home, Office, Large Format Design, and Large Format Production solutions.

This role offers opportunities to work with various technologies, gain exposure to different market segments, and contribute to new product development through system-level testing and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct System Interaction Testing for new product programs under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define test requirements and test plans.
• Support logistics and resource planning activities to ensure project schedules are met.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting of technical issues encountered during testing and recommend solutions or workarounds.
• Compile, document, and report test results to program leads.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, inspectors, and cross-functional teams to support product development activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic project coordination and planning skills.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of HP basic TIJ and Ink Supply systems.
• Experience setting up PCs and mobile operating systems and integrating them with test hardware, software, and drivers.
• Basic programming knowledge in C++, C#, or Visual Basic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database queries, ODBC, MS Query, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to JMP and CREO is an added advantage.
