We compile and maintain individual and business credit information to generate reports and scores to help businesses and consumers manage risk, make informed decisions, and achieve financial goals.

Beyond that, we are an information services and technology company specialising in big data analytics to support decision making in government, business, and finance.

We are building next-generation technology to automatically extract and structure financial information data rich documents. Our goal is to make financial data more accessible, accurate, and useful for decision-makers. To ensure high-quality results, we are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) validation team.

Role Overview

As a Data Validation Analyst, you will play a key role in verifying the accuracy of structured financial data generated by our extraction system. You will compare numbers in raw audited documents  (PDFs or scanned documents) against structured outputs (JSON or tabular format), flag discrepancies, and provide corrections when needed. Over time, your scope may expand to include data enrichment, industry research, and other forms of structured data gathering.

Key Responsibilities

• Review extracted financial data against the original documents.
• Validate key financial figures.
• Identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Provide structured feedback on recurring issues to help improve the extraction system.
• Maintain detailed records of validations performed for auditability.
• Collaborate with the engineering/data team to refine validation workflows.
• (Future scope) Assist in other data gathering activities, including company information, market data, and document annotation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work with structured data formats (Excel, CSV, JSON).
• Comfortable using productivity tools (Google Sheets, internal dashboards, annotation tools).
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Background in accounting, finance, auditing, or economics.
• Experience in data validation, annotation, or data quality control.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, MFRS).
