Job Description – Automation Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation as the primary skill and Tosca Automation as a secondary skill.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in:

• Playwright
• Tosca
• JavaScript
• API Automation

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale automated testing frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using:
• Playwright
• Tosca
• JavaScript
• Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks
• Enhance automation coverage across web applications and APIs

API Testing & Automation

• Develop and execute automated API test cases
• Validate REST API functionality and integrations
• Perform end-to-end testing across interconnected systems

Test Execution & Defect Management

• Execute:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• API Testing
• Log, track, and validate defects
• Work closely with development teams for issue resolution

Framework Maintenance & Optimization

• Improve existing automation frameworks and test suites
• Ensure automation scripts are stable, maintainable, and reusable
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in automation practices

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with:
• Developers
• QA Teams
• Business Analysts
• Project Stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Provide regular testing status updates and reports

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong hands-on automation testing background
