Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:

Windows / VMware / Linux Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years of Windows Server administration experience; Strong knowledge of: Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; Group Policy; Windows OS troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills, OR
• Minimum 5 years of experience with: VMware vSphere; ESXi vCenter; Strong Linux administration experience (preferably RHEL); Experience in patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with HPE and Dell server hardware
• Attend incident reported and resolve in accordance to the agreed SLA; Investigate and resolve hardware related incident escalated by Level 1
• Perform diagnosis/root cause analysis for incident severity 1 and 2
• Execute Change Request (emergency or planned change), which includes preparing required documentation by Change Committee
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize system vulnerabilities, and coordinate patching activities carefully to ensure accuracy and minimize disruption
• Deploy the OS, middleware, hardware firmware and security patches accordingly. Verify activity status and ensure stability for control security risks
• Manage, maintain, operate, and support the enterprise backup recovery solution within a defined timeline.
• Perform regular backup jobs, restore testing, and ensure data compatibility to minimize risks to the business operation
• Record all the incidents, resolutions, and infrastructure changes to ensure traceability and for support audit requirements
• Coordination and work collaborate with other teams (network, security, application) for cross operational tasks
