About this role:

We're looking for a Junior Product Designer to join on a 3-month full-time contract and work directly with our product & engineering team on active product development.

This is a hands-on execution role — real product work, fast feedback loops and daily design

iteration. You won't be warming a bench.

Engagement

• 3-month contract, full-time equivalent
• Remote / Work from Home
• 4–5 days per week
• Core hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM MYT
• Daily check-ins and design reviews
• Close collaboration with Product & Engineering

What You'll Do

Primarily focused on UI systems, design operations, and AI-enabled workflows rather than traditional UX research and discovery.

• Audit and consolidate existing UI components, styles, variables, and design tokens
• Help build and maintain a scalable design system and component library in Figma
• Create reusable, developer-friendly components and patterns
• Use AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate design execution and iteration
• Design and refine high-fidelity UI screens using established system components
• Collaborate closely with developers to improve design-to-development handoff
• Support rapid product experimentation and feature delivery
• Maintain consistency and quality across the product experience

What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting senior-level product thinking. We are looking for someone who can execute reliably, learn quickly, and improve through feedback.

Must-Have

• 0–2 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
• Strong Figma skills, including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Collections, Tokens and Design Systems
• Good understanding of UX fundamentals, hierarchy, usability, and user flows
• Ability to take direction and execute independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-rich environment
• Available during core working hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM MYT)
• Strong attention to detail and design consistency

Nice to Have

• Internship, freelance, or startup experience
• Exposure to SaaS, healthtech, or consumer products
• Familiarity with design tokens and scalable design systems
• Experience using AI tools within your workflow (Figma AI, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, v0, Lovable, etc.)
• Basic understanding of frontend implementation and developer handoff
