Job Description

Responsibilities

The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities for a period of 6 months across various sectors.

The programme aims to support fresh graduates, with no prior working experience, from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands-on industry-relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full-time employment.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026
  • Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship

As a Digital IT Executive, you'll work with the Ecommerce team and partners to support our online platforms. Key tasks include organizing documentation, managing security certificates, and resolving issues —mainly for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and the Singapore Staff Portal. Your role helps keep our platforms secure, efficient, and user-friendly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with vendors and Infra/Network teams to implement and renew SSL certificates, ensuring secure connections and proper domain routing.

• Track and monitor issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

• Research Jira integration with ServiceNow and other tools to enhance workflows and data sync.

• Document website configurations, updates, and issues for ongoing maintenance.

• Support user queries on the Singapore Staff Portal.

• Assist with technology research and recommendations for ad hoc projects.

• Maintain Azure data pipelines.

• Support ETL processes with the Data team.

• Aid finance report generation during month-end.

• Assist with data integration across applications (e.g., POS, BI, ERP).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data insights.

REQUIREMENTS

Work well with others, respect different views, and help build a strong team. Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy. The following technical skills are useful:

• Familiar with Jira or ServiceNow interfaces, issue management, boards, and workflows.

• Able to create reports and dashboards on project and team progress.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Understand SSL certificate lifecycle basics.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
