About the Role

We are looking for an experienced System Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development and financial/banking application support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment systems, regulatory compliance, and SDLC, with a proven track record in Singapore's banking and financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle-based database applications including stored procedures, functions, packages, and database objects
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional/technical design documents
  • Develop and maintain batch processing flows for financial and banking applications using PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting
  • Support and maintain SWIFT Alliance systems (AWP, SAA, SAG) and payment infrastructure such as MEPS+
  • Perform and support SIT and UAT cycles; implement changes to production environments
  • Manage BAU technical operations, incident resolution, and change requests in alignment with regulatory compliance standards
  • Liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams for seamless system integration
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by business users
  • Support Java-based applications and data processing pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development
  • Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and Java application support
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (9i/10g/11g/12c), SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL*Plus
  • Experience with SWIFT Alliance and MEPS+ payment systems
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC systems (e.g., BAE Systems DETICA) and regulatory reporting (Basel/RWA)
  • Experience with Control-M scheduler and ClearCase/ClearQuest
  • Strong documentation skills (Functional Design, Technical Design, Unit Test Plans)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

  • Background in Risk/Compliance systems such as Risk Authority (Moody's RAY)
  • Prior experience in Oracle Retail applications (ORMS, RWMS)
