Job Summary

You will manage shipping and export documentation, coordinate shipment bookings, and communicate with customers to ensure smooth import and export operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export shipping documents accurately to support timely shipments
• Submit required paperwork to customers and relevant parties to ensure compliance and smooth transactions
• Follow up on customer enquiries and coordinate shipment bookings to meet delivery schedules
• Apply knowledge of export and shipping documentation to resolve issues and streamline processes
• Utilize familiarity with overseas markets, including Africa, to support international trade activities
• Use computer skills to manage documentation and communication efficiently

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience handling shipping documents and export/import procedures

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency with computer applications related to shipping and documentation
• Experience working with overseas markets, especially Africa

Other Information

• Work schedule: 5.5 days per week with alternate Saturdays off
