Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the overall data warehouse architecture to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Design and implement ETL workflows to integrate data from multiple sources (internal systems, external feeds).
- Define and enforce enterprise standards for data storage, retrieval, and governance.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all layers of data architecture.
- Monitor and optimize data performance/efficiency, including query tuning and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
- Coordinate cross-functional team and contribute to projects aimed at improving data capabilities and analytics maturity.
- Provide technical guidance and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data architecture/warehousing, with experience in stakeholder management role.
- Experience in general insurance or financial services preferred.
- Strong expertise in database modelling and design, and/or data warehouse dynamics.
- Proficient in SQL/ETL language and processes, APIs, data integration tools, analytical tools, etc.
- Team player with good track record, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
