Purpose of Role
Support student recruitment, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement initiatives through the planning, coordination, and execution of events.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute events that support student recruitment, engagement, and brand-building efforts, including Open Days, campus visits, education fairs, signature events, and external venue rental activities.
- Work closely with the School Marketing Team, Sales Team, Academic Faculties, and other departments to ensure successful event delivery and achievement of event objectives.
- Manage event logistics and operations, including venue booking, transportation, accommodation, venue setup, audiovisual requirements, catering, event registration, goodie bags, and deployment of student helpers.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Registry, Maintenance, CIC, Security, Transportation, and academic departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Support the sourcing and coordination of external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth event execution, quality delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in tracking event budgets and expenditure, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with approved budgets and procurement procedures.
- Manage promotional collaterals and inventory, including brochures, flyers, forms, merchandise, and goodie bags.
- Support the development of event schedules, operational plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Support the collection and compilation of post-event feedback and basic event data to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure events are executed professionally and safely in accordance with institutional guidelines and operational requirements.
Preferred Qualification, Experience and Job Competencies
1. Minimum Academic Qualification
i. At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
2. Experience
i. At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the education sector in event management, with proven experience in project planning, coordination, and execution.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments, external vendors, and event partners
- Skilled in MS Office, event management and other digital tools essential for efficient event coordination
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
