Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle and maintain a full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within deadlines.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and reimbursement claims.
- Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements regularly.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors and collection from customers.
Bank & Cash Management
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Monitor daily banking transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in managing company cash flow requirements.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records for motorcycle spare parts, lubricants, accessories, and workshop consumables.
- Verify stock movements and coordinate with the service and parts departments.
- Assist in cost analysis and inventory valuation exercises.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit SST-related documentation where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
- Support annual audit and tax filing processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Experience in automotive, motorcycle service, retail, or related industries is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
