Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Head of IT Shared Services will lead the group’s centralized IT operations function responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and responsive IT services to all companies within the Exitra ecosystem.

This role combines operational leadership, infrastructure management, and service delivery excellence, ensuring that internal teams can operate efficiently while maintaining enterprise-grade technology standards.

You will oversee IT administration,  Microsoft 365 services, internal infrastructure support, and end-user technical services across the group.

This is a leadership role reporting directly to senior management, with the mandate to build scalable processes, modernize internal systems, and establish best-in-class IT service practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the centralized IT Shared Services team supporting multiple companies within the group.

  2. Define service standards, response SLAs, and internal support processes.

  3. Work with various teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.

  4. Build a high-performance IT operations team focused on service reliability and responsiveness

  5. Develop a culture of accountability, professionalism, and proactive support

  6. Maintain and ensure service levels correspond to service agreements

  7. Oversee the day-to-day operation of internal IT systems including:

  8. End-user computing (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)

  9. Work with Network team to ensure infrastructure (LAN, WiFi, VPN) in order.

  10. Server and virtualization environments

  11. IT asset lifecycle management

  12. System monitoring and performance management

  13. M365 systems

  14. Improve documentation, automation, and operational workflows to improve productivity and overall efficiency.

  15. To Lead and mentor IT Shared Services support Team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure (M365, Networking, Endpoint, IT Security, ITIL, Service & ticketing systems)

  • Passionate, well-structured, strategic.
