We are looking for a meticulous and passionate Quality Control Executive to maintain our excellence in food safety and quality standards.
Job Highlights
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Working Days: 5.5 Days (Alternate Saturday)
Location: Gelang Patah, Johor
Growth: Opportunity to lead food safety audits and process improvements.
Quality Monitoring: Conduct routine QC inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to ensure compliance with company specifications.
Laboratory Analysis: Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of food products.
Food Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and Halal standards across the production floor.
Documentation: Maintain accurate QC records, certificates of analysis (COA), and daily inspection reports.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits (MOH, JAKIM, ISO 22000) and ensure all corrective actions are implemented.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify quality deviations, initiate hold procedures for non-conforming products, and assist in root cause analysis.
Hygiene Oversight: Monitor factory hygiene, pest control, and staff GMP compliance on the production floor.
Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
Knowledge: Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and Halal certification processes is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Language: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
Attitude: Able to work independently, disciplined, and comfortable working in a production environment.
Schedule: Willing to work 5.5 days per week.
